Writing and Speaking Exam Preparation – for 4th December

This is what your written exam will look like, the questions in the speaking exam will be very similar!  Make sure that you prepare and memorise answers of at least 3 sentences for each question, you should give a statement, and opinion and a reason for your opinion.  Try to vary your vocabulary and use the future tense as well as the present tense.

Comparativos – Comparatives

A comparative adjective is used when we want to compare two things.  In English we either add ‘-er’ to the adjective or use ‘more / less ….. than …‘ : 

e.g.  tall = taller,   beautiful = more beautiful

In Spanish the ‘-er’ form does not exist and we only use the ‘more / less …… than …….‘ way of comparing things.  Look at the examples below:
